It's a Wrap
Haven’t written here much lately, because I’ve been writing nearly 24/7 for last two weeks, finally turned over my manuscript for Bare Metal Minimality: The Golden Dozen Internal Power Drills to my layout man in Australia. Thus I expect to be listing BMM within a week or two. This book is my absolute best, and I believe it is the last word in internal power training - if the readers take it seriously and actually do the stuff. Work it to rule. This book concentrates god knows how many tens thousands of dollars and decades into a dozen fully specified and minutely instructed little bite size drills that anybody can perform in a few minutes per day. This book is answer to the very frequent email questions I get around the theme: “Your stuff is too much, it’s all over the place. I need a clear starting line and defined on-ramp.” BMM is that for beginners, but the real bang will be for people who are a little experienced in the IP (Internal Power) game. This book will be like a gift from the gods for them!
Once BMM hits the shelf I wonder whether I should yank all my other books off the shelf (Amazon)? What’s the use now that BMM tells all. But I guess the previous books are still valuable for some backstory on the energy points and internal power architecture of the human. But in practical terms, down on the bare metal, this new book tells all.
I wanted to knock out the final draft and get it to my layout guy by yesterday evening because I’m leaving early tomorrow for a small spot of semi-private teaching down south, followed by an intensive Ashtanga training thing later in the week. I’ll report on those events if anything interesting happens.
Meanwhile, here’s the TOC for Bare Metal Minimality. Don’t be fooled by the familiarity of some of the drill titles. I’ve presented the mechanics of some of these before, but in Bare Metal I’m getting way deeper than ever before into what brings these to life: what to do with your Mind. Those 12 chapters are the crown jewels.
