Zoom Power Lunch
I had a great lunch at Zoom AI Headquarters today, catching up with my former boss at Microsoft Research Xuedong Huang, who’s the CTO of Zoom. They’re doing a lot of very creative and focused work applying AI to their core business (and tearing up / topping out some leaderboards along the way). Fun time today, covered every imaginable topic in this multiverse or any other. XD (as he’s styled) is the most brilliant applied mathematician I’ve ever known in my career.
